with my 89 chevy dually with a with an aftermarket throttle body injection towing a 19' open bow, i got what you got. thats at 60 mph.
97 dodge dually, cummings, 4x, extra cab i got 18 mpg at 60 mph towing a 20' open bow.
with my 05 dodge hemi quad cab, 1/2 ton, 4x, towing a 23' boat i got 13.3 if i remember right. (less then 4000 miles on the truck i hear it may get better?) thats at 62 mph.
all the seats are filled with the me the wife and 4 kids (4, 6, 10, 15) and of course all the usual gear it takes to spend a week at havasu.

Pulling a 21' Malibu (before I had mine) with 4-6 inside, usual gear, 75-80, 8.5
I still seem to get about the same. I don't really check it any more. I didn't buy it for the mileage it gets, I got it cause it gets the job done.

I just had the heads ported, new roller cam, new cat back exhaust put on my 454. Was curious as to how the mph compared to others. I havent run a full tank through it yet without the boat in tow to see how well it does. I'll post back after the weekend when i fill it up again.

Valves went up from 2.060 to 2.190. You can read about it in the october issue of Sport Truck Magazine. There's an article in there about the head porting.
It runs hard now. Tows like a champ. I towed to the river and back at about 70 mph and the tranny hardly ever shifted even up the grades

I launched Mike at the CBBB, and that truck sounds nice, jumpy too, tap the throttle and it chirps the tires. I wanted to do one of them burn out contest deals on the ramp, Mike would not let me! :frown:

not sure how much power yet. will be going on the chassis dyno this week after another appointment the tuner. Its got an off-idle stumble we are trying to eliminate before dyno testing. Other than that it runs great.

Stuck in traffic all week long and not towing the boat=10.5 mpg.
same as towing the boat on the open highway. hopefully i'll get some open highway this week and see if there's a difference.
