....that has been asked about. I did a little web page (http://homepages.donobi.net/unionguy/ColeWeb/) with a bunch of pics.
All I know about it is that it has sat a LOT since new in 1981. The engine, I was told, is a 425 HP 396 BBC. The previous owner had it rebuilt last winter, and put quite a bit of high-end parts in it. The guys that did the engine are guys that do NASCAR engines in the Seattle area, so I'd bet they did a good job.
Wish I could find insurance :frown:

Kinda what I figured, especially since I know nothing about these boats. I'm having so much fun with it I might just have to keep it. :D

Larry I would say a far price would be about 6~7k your boat is very clean I just sold my orange and white Cole no motor for 4500. Good luck

I found insurance...hooray!!!! Allstate - $377/year. Guess I'm gonna keep this hot-rod now :D

Yep, even showed them pictures. They have a list of boats that they won't touch, and Cole's weren't on the list.

Friend of a friend. Went to Fishhook Park on the snake with them a couple of years ago. Nice boat! Was in great shape when I saw it and it still looks to be that way.
