How do you wire a hei dist? Also where does the tach wire go? I have an idea but im not sure.

Tach goes to the negative terminal the coil. Depends on your dist. but my HEI goes to the positive and negative on the coil.

Depends on which HEI you have, old or new style, internal or external coil.

The coil in the cap model has terminals for "Batt+, and Tach" side by side on the edge of the cap. External coil would be - side of the coil for the tach, and 12 volts, from the switch, to the plus side.........MP

It was right there.....batt+ tach -.. never try to install anything drunk
