That post is kind of a GMT trademark... We've got another buddy with an OB GMT (same hull) with the same setup. I'll have to get a better shot of it, but here's a side shot attached.

Gilbreath Marine Technology.
Ah thanks, I've seen a few like that before and were all in high end endurance style rigs (that were passing me so fast I could scope it out). And yes, if you could snap a few pics of it I would love to check it out.
I'm not going to knock it off as that's one of the few things that's done on my boat. lol
Doss, it's comming along slow.

It's an interesting piece. I don't see you needing a huge extension like that in your RC... :D
mine's pretty close in length. I guess it's from the Hondo T deck I had but I don't want my legs under the dash. My feet will be under there just a little.

That little GMT / Spectra has quite the history! It was Greg Fosters ski racer, then Greg Thompsons 1st GN racer, then Kelly Olivers GN piece! Looks like a rightious resto in the works! Keep it up!

I was hoping somebody here would know that boat's history..
Thank you Sir. :)
Kelly Oliver won the GN 1 class of the Parker enduro in 97 and flipped it before the first turn of a marathon at the Bluewater marina thanksgiving 97. A few years later Richard VanBeenen ran it then traded it to the Harpers for thier twin turbo Hallet.

Maybe you remember him from the old days??? Drove many drag and circle boats like "cherry mist". He was Gordon Jennings Sr.s best friend.
If you have any of my old classic v-drive club vids, hes in some of those.

Extra tall out side stringers are for seat mounting. They have been filled because a different seat mounting system is going to be fabricated.

Can't wait to see him driving the Bezer. Better make the boat haul enough fuel cause he'll sure use it. Hey Dave I have an idea... Theres your ride for the 300 at Parker. Berry, I was just wondering what the boat would look like with over the transom headers. Been thinking about pulling the motor out of the Hydro and putting it in the Howard and bringing it to Anna.

756! Nice. 600+ torque most of the way through. You better learn how to post up your own stuff soon Kid! Now that the motor's done, you better get the boat ready!
http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/2880TravsDyno.jpgThose are some great pictures! I'm copying them to my desktop for future reference.:D
Nice job on the motor. How big is it?? I'm also curious about the oil pan? How many qts? That's quite a bit of oil pressure fluxuation. You might try taking a little oil out of the pan.
Just a thought.
Beautiful job!!
