Hand hole extension [Archive]

Posted this on the Spectra site, thought I would try here too.
Anyway, I have a lake weed problem near our Parker place and after the last weekend have been thinking of getting the handhole extender. What are the cons in the perfromance of the pump (20 Spectra with Berk JG Pump)??
Is anyone selling a used one for a Berk JG?

Call Tom at jet boat performanc ein atascadero.. I talked with him a while back about an angled one so i could get my handhole far enough out to put a pop off on. I think he said he had a few.

I was looking at the inside of it, and I just can't see how with an extender it would still be flush with the inside of the pump. This is why I ask if anyone has experienced a performance loss with the extender.
