Does this mean we can order a diesel Burb and the option to order a new tranny every 6 months ? :hammer2: :hammer2:

De-tuned to 250 HP 460 ft Lbs of tq So I don't think trans will be an issue yet...... sub now has 325 HP and 447 ft Lbs of tq and same trans will be in the Express as the Suburban

In the express van the 8.1L is not an option.... So yes in the express it will tow better

That is good news. I have been waiting for a Sub with a diesel, as soon as they come out I am all over it.
By the way have you sold you boat yet?

The only bummer is that it does not come with the allison. Right? It's amazing what a differance the allison makes form my 02 HD with the 8.1/allison to my 03 Sub 8.1/4le80.

It's about time.
I waited for 3 years, kept checking at the Bowtie dealer. They assurred me that it was coming soon. After 3 years, I settled for an Excursion with a Diesel. I never thought I would own a ford but there were no other options out there.
The Excursion is alright, but the Diesel is much quieter in the bowties and the ride is way better. My excursion rides like there is no front suspension.
