Union Valley Reservoir. Anyone been there?

My in-laws are camping there this weekend and want me to come up with the boat for a day on the water.
Anyone ever been to this lake? Any good things to know?

I take it you've spent some time there, Jim?
I'm just wondering if its cool to have a full sized jet boat up there... some of those little lakes up in the hills don't allow anything bigger than a canoe.

How's your engine coming along? Is it back together?
Took my boat out this weekend and the thing ran like a top all day long. New alternator/starter/battery/cables/plugs/cap/wires/choke etc..... so nice to turn the key and actually have the motor fire up!!

Took my boat out this weekend and the thing ran like a top all day long. New alternator/starter/battery/cables/plugs/cap/wires/choke etc..... so nice to turn the key and actually have the motor fire up!!
The only problem I found was that there was no gas on the water !!!
That pic was taken in early Aug. about 5 years ago, I bet the water is a bit higher.
