More than likley it's worth less than his reserve.
Hasn't been in the water for 3 years???? What's that say about the engine???
Bet their's some shit goin on there.It aint good for an engine to sit for three years. Forget about those high tension valve springs. they are toast by now.
I'd pay a c-note more than the price now. That's it.
Motors don't sit unused very well without some good prep work.
Loosening valve springs oiling cylinders etc.

I have the exact same boat with a Ford powerplant GPS 78. Inspect the stringers I just had to replace mine. Did a pump setback while I was at it. Haven't run the boat since. I have a lot more money then that in mine

ok, my .02. i'm restoring a 79 liberty for a freind. this boat sat for a 3 year period. not good, so far i've been through the whole engine(454) and his floors had a little rot. a little rot means everything is rotten. he paid 3500 and got 2000 back from the guy he bought it from. you wont have this in the water till next year at the best. just my .02 :)

Desktop Dyno puts me at 718. Also had the pump blueprinted and the bowl worked. Hope to run a lot better now. Just waiting for summit to send the rest of my AN fittings so I can start rigging it again

What did you do to get that kind of power out of the ford? Is that with N02?
