anyone out there know where I can find a set of pontiac 400 headers, logs, zoomies, flanges. I'll settle for anything at this point. there going on to my 65 hallett

Try getting hold of "Detroit Jim" he had some Pontiac logs and a set of Ram Air big port O/T headers for sale abouot 6 months back.
I'm fixing to put a built 400 Pontiac in a '76 Witchcraft 16' jet. Any tips on motor set-up for a boat??

lol I have a 421 in mine thank god it came with nicson headers...still can't find risers for it but I will....anyways

they are the square kind but they have some vintage looking fins on them. they fit every thing but ram air heads. the main porb with pontiac is the way they have the funk center point. I have "heard" that some 1 makes a plate that bolts between the heads and the manifolds so that they bolt up to a olds maifold but I have yet to find a site that has them. only been told by a coulpe of "old" boat builders. good luck if you find a old pair of nicson snail back risers let me know.....or if you need a pair of OTs that bolt up to the nicsonlogs(if you can find some... been a few pair on ebay in the last few months) pontiac logs I have 2 sets 1 with mufler 1 w/o

Cool, willl check out the sites. I think the logs Detroit jim had were the Nicsons, but I'n not sure.

I'd gladly trade someone the whole core for a set of bbc or sbc motor mounts. everything is there except the carb. hasnt, ran since 1999 so it needs to be gone through.

Really???? I maybe intrested in that.... I have a whole set up for a bbc mounts basset headers every thing.
