Has anybody used this for data acquistion. Looks pretty cool and very controllable all limits can be set with high and low alarms. Thinking about installing one in place of my radio. Any thoughts or suggestions

Looks cool. I didn't read the whole website, but I would want it to be able to display a GPS readout. Preferably I would like it built in. The cost seems a little high, but I guess it depends on what 9 gauges would cost. I would think that if you were starting from scratch with no gauges, it might work out to be cheaper. I don't like that it only displays four signals at one time. If you are hauling up a river, you want to be able to keep your hands on the wheel, not pushing buttons to see what your other sensors are reading. I would also like to see it have a built in digital recorder of some type. That way you could see how the engine was doing on a long run, or even a whole weekend.
