Sorry, I don't have a blower, but I do wish I did. With that said, can someone tell me where I can get a throttle cable bracket? I have a Weiand high rise manifold with two 660's. I have the Weiand linkage that goes down to the bottom of the intake manifold with the long rod. Anyway, the BBC is in a 72 Sanger flatbottom v-drive, so the engine is mounted in the boat backward. The throttle cable goes under the engine and pushes from the back of the boat. The problem I am having is that my ski tow is in the way a little bit, and I can't seem to find any pictures of what I need. I had a friend of mine make me something that works, but looks pretty ugly. It mounts to the ski tow. Would pictures help, or does someone know what I am looking for?

make a bracket that comes off where the two halfs of the tunnel ram bolt together and drop it down to the height you need.

Cole sanger i have the exact same setup my motor is forward though (jet) but i ran my linkage under the motor and up the back to keep the front clean. If you find something let me know. The way i have mine now the cable attachment point flexes causing the secondaries not to open all the way. I was going to play with mine this weekend and see if i could machine something if i come up with something cool i'll let you know.

Cool, I thought I was alone on this. I was hopeing to see how people mount their cable with a blower and the linkage that I have. I have seen a couple in pictures, but not sure where to get them.

ya me either. Right now mine is mounted off the head and 1 intake bolt but it leaves the cable flexable. I'm gonna run to the shop and see if can machine a nice pieace.. If I come up with something i'll get you a pic. I know the blower guys have something but i've been unable to even find a decent pic of it.

I think I found what I was looking for. Here is a picture of it. The only problem is that the guy at summit said that this picture is what summit has, but the edelbrock catalog has a little bit different picture (it has a second spot for a transmission kickdown). I ordered it next flight out. I will let you know if it works.

If you want something cleaner, and can wait a few more days, give Tahitijet a chance to finish his up. I suggested something similar, but made from aluminum, so it should end up much cleaner. He is a pretty nice guy, you could probably talk him into making a 2nd one for a reasonable price.

Sounds good. I can always return mine to Summit. Thanks.

I didn't realize when you asked me the other day for a picture of my blower motor linkage you have tunnel ram. I e-mailed you some pictures of my linkage I made out of a flat piece of alum. for my tunnel ram motor. See if these get you a little closer to what your looking for. Its all up under the scoop, and nice and clean, it also eliminates alot of extra moving parts. These are dominator carbs, but you get the idea. If you can post the pics I e-mailed you it also might help someone else out.

Tahitijet, Did you get anything worked out? I got that part I ordered from Summit. It won't work for a tunnelram, atleast not my Weiand. It says that it is for a BB/SBC. Trust me, it won't fit. The bolt holes will not fit the bolt holes on the intake. Too close together. It did give me a good template to go by. It is the right idea, just wrong size.

Cole Sanger I haven't had a chance yet.. things are a little crazier then i'd like around the shop with SEMA approaching. I will get something super clean made up shortly. If you can hold out long enough with what you have i'll make a second for you.
I can't belive no one makes a nice looking part for this setup. I emailed back and forth a bit with Duane at htp and he sent me some really good pics of what they do which is similar to what cousin bob sent you ( cable mounted on the top) However I like the look of the linkage and keeping the cable bassicly out of sight.
I should get my MSD box back in a couple weeks and i'll have something by then so i can use the boat a few more times before temps drop.
