My friend would love to be kicking back with a smoke. But he is laying in the hospital waiting for the biopsy to come back on his lung sample. It's not about what it is, as much as what type it is. Had a heart attack at 47, then they found the spots. He gave up smoking after the heart attack. A little late. Does that help?

I used the patch then cut it in half and half and so on. I want to kill somebody everyday, I have taken almost this whole week off. No matter what you do in life, you will quit smoking. You just have to decide when. It will be when you decide or it will be when you die, which one do you want to be? I quit 2 weeks 3 days ago. I miss it but love the idea of enjoying life. I can't sleep at night either, oh well time will fix everything!

Yes, it WILL go away!!! :) I quit when I went to San Fran last March.
Things that helped me.... I couldn't smoke in the airport, airplane, rent car (my buddies I was with were both non smokers) motel, etc etc. We rode back to Shreveport, LA in my buddy's wife's Jag and I dared not smoke in there!!! It would have been hell to walk back and I'm not walking a foot, much less a mile for a Camel!!!
BTW when I quit, I quit... totally. If you drink, don't pick them back up. I use to wonder if it was the alcohol or the cigs that caused a hang over... Well, I am here to tell you that cigs definitely make you feel worse!!!
Just keep thinking positive. It WILL get better, that's a promise!!!
