my Nordskog gauges and GPS is on there way. I'm using the cheek flap method until then. If your cheeks start flapping your goin about 65 LMAO and old motorcycle guru told me that. but honestly i have NO idea how fast she is...but she gets up and moves!!!

After cs19 saw may boat run he said that it was stuffing the tail. So I put some down wedge and it runs much better, 4*, flatter and higher.

i was allready thinking of 5* of wedge figured it would help alot. i to noticed how she was sitting in the water. what do you think of a short droop?

I ran 84mph @ 5400rpm with MPD detailed Berk "B" impeller and short droop, I know they are Aggressor products but they are thick and not too long so less stress. Cyclone is running one. With the short droop you don't need as much down wedge maybe 1* is all. Reg Droop has 7.5* pin angle and Short Droop has 3.5* pin angle.
Is your boat the Double concaved version ???

No it was on my VDO speedo. But both my speedos are within 1mph of the GPS unit. I will say it was alot cooler that day than it has been here even at night.

I am shooting for 5500rpms with mine !!!!
Oh for Crying out loud, quit stalling an tell him what he wants to know. You are gonna get a pretty decent hole shot with the AA, but probably be running top speed of 50 to 60 depending on max rpm. Others will have different results but my old 20 foot Glastron was running 55mph at 5000 rpm with a poorly tuned 460 car motor. Then it broke and now I am lucky if I can paddle much over 3 knots down stream with a tail wind. :supp:

That would mean your poorly tuned 460 was making over 1hp per ci, that has always been pritty damn good when you can do that. But mine turned a A2 to 4600rpm@69mph and has gone on to spin it to 5200rpms@78.3mph.
Berk recomends the A2 impeller in just about every family lake boat. You will loose about 150 -300rpm and pick up bout 5mph in a good pump and well loaded. The bigger the impeller the more eficiant it is, shorter distance to the vains of the bowl. More forward thrust.
