looks like my old 79 biesemeyer jet or a splash there of the deck is different though looks almost like a buble deck biesemeyers had the circles cut in the wood on the inside gunnels......made for some good storage space

That looks like the first rendition of Biesemeyer jet boat (could also be a Caribbean), probably about a 1972 or so. If the bottom is anything like the later version(1976 and later Biesemeyer) they are a good handling and performing boat. The wide, dropped lifting strakes and drop chines scream "Comp Jet", but the boat looks awfully big. 300mph? maybe being towed by an F-16!!!

From what I'm told it does have some racing history behind it. Thing is a mess. A friend of mine picked it up and I could probably get it from him pretty cheap :crossx: Of course it came with a 700hp BBC with only 10 hours on it. The HIN is on it but the first 2 letters are unreadable.
Sorry about the 300mph reference its actually closer to 180mph :skull: :skull:

You're getting closer. Knock that '1' off your number and you're in the ball park. :)

Its our drag boat to sit next to the motorhome when we go to the drags :crossx: Slap some vinyl graphics on it, print up some t-shirts, and maybe some stickers. :)

If you want to know for sure if it is a Beeeezzmire, call Phil Bergeron he owns the rights and molds to that hull. He can tell you right away I also think he can tell you alot about that make and year. (480) 834-1531

Hey Todd, that's my Daytona Sprint you are talking about:D And no, its not a Daytona Sprint, mine doesn't have those hook chines/liftingstrakes. Those hook chines/lifting strakes are a dead givaway for a Beisemeyer Sprint. Don't know of any other hull that has such a rounded transom with those chines. My 02.
