wonder if there will be any gas :frown:
Look at this
40miles one way=80miles travel
Ramcharger Urban Assult and Mouse Tow Vehicle =10mpg (max)
20gallons for the boat (max Fat Rat, MAX..you hear that!!!! and i will have some left over :p )
That looks like 28 gallons to me, or maybe $100...
Will it be worth it?
Fuggin-A John Tweed come a trottin. Summer dont last forever.
Looks like big orange balls on the weather report too. Horsepower days, too.
I was looking for a song to put up, but i found some sounds from last Summer. At Hot Rods. Brought back some fine memories.
here it go:

I dont think so Donny. Pax aint no place to be.
Look what i'm talkin about:
1. It is way too large a body of water.
2. Too much life in the water: crabs, snakes and fish and stuff
3. Too many different kinds of water and water conditions on the same day in different places, pick what you like.
4. I have met way too many good people there.
5. There is still a bit of wax sheen from where Rat was there couple of months ago, not an oily rainbow affair but the quality patina only obtainable with that combination of hull and personality.
6. I know two many people that live right on the water that will tolerate me for short periods.
7. I will be all wore out from being there Saturday
Cook out on the pax all wellcome :D

If necessary dingy service will be provided for those that draw too much water to get to the pier. ;)

How's the river now, I haven't been on it in 10 years. We use to live just north of the Benidict bridge. Use to have a great time unless the jelly fish came in...

,How's the river now,..
I dont think the river has changed much and i dont know how the people were but i can say without reserve that they are tops now.
Many, many thanks to Hotrod for letting me spend the nite and Cindy for treating me like Royalty and Jay and Barb for the ton of chops.
Don, i dont like the fact that people are saying how nice a boat you got and kind of ignoring mine, no more than i like the way it runs :D :D I will come and get the batteries. i was shot (still am) for some reason. I went right home and took a nap and am gonna take another one. Dont think it is a 24bottle virus...could be jealousy at some variety of toys i seen.
It was a fantastic blast up by Magruder yesterday. Not something i will easily forget.
I got to see the stars again, just like last year. Cockadoodle doo, just like last year... It was rich....Well, he was at Riners, but we did have him going about jeffs boat!

AHHHHH! good ole pax river. Spent 4 years as a rescue diver in the Navy there on H-3 helo's 84-88. I pulled a few dumb ass sail boaters out of the water a time or two. Bought my first boat from a ass-hole at O-berry marine on solomons Island 1979 checkmate Exciter 150 OB that blew up 3 days after I had it. Nothing worse than a young pissed off sailor.. What great parties at the TIKI Bar.......Miss the good ole days.......
