View Full Version : Whats it Worth? 21' Schiada

Hey Guys,
My buddy has a 1974 I believe Schiada 21' Day Cruiser set up with a V-drive he is looking to get rid of minus the engine. Here is a bad pic of it taken on a cheap camera, but it is in great shape and has a brand new interior. Anyone have an idea on what they are fetching this time of the year? TIA

That is a 22' Schiada, probably a great lake boat and better in bigger water
than a 21' . A 21' is probably more desirable than a 22' to most people.
One of my neighbors sold a perfect 22' with a new Phaff Turbo motor last
season for $ 25,000

Hey Smalls I will check what kinda Vdrive, It had a 502 in there, mildly built,
Here is a pic of the Vdrive maybe you can identify it??

That's the transmission, and most likely a Turbo 400. The actual v-drive box is a little further up towards the bow. Follow the driveshaft from the end of the transmission. ;)

Interesting rigging. The 22's are heavy and need a lot of motor but they sure ride nice. You'll need to get good pics of the boat (less interior), trailer and rigged items to get a fair estimated price for it. Good luck.

That would probably be Dave's Custom Boats, Smallie. He uses a lot of Eliminator molds, a lot of air entrapment stuff, mainly wackers and I/O stuff, don't think he's ever done a v-drive. Builds very high quality pieces.
