Stainless steel offers corrosion resistance, and a longer fabricated pipe introduces the water further back into the exhaust system to prevent reversion. Our aluminum risers have a big I.D. sleeve for high flow, most exhaust manufacturers don't offer that feature on aluminum risers. Stainless risers will usually out flow an aluminum riser. But DMP aluminum risers are not constructed like all others and they do have a big, high flow inside diameter.

Hey Advantage, Yeah, it be me, How did the stainless line upgrade workout? If your avatar is your engine compartment you can use the manifolds with the long aluminum risers for $1195.00 or we could build a custom set of downsweep stainless steel tail pipes. That would get up to roughly $2100.00. The first option would work bitchen and would fit with no problem.

Don't forget about Dana Marine's Vortech style risers. For $150.00 extra you can upgrade the stainless risers to the Vortech style which have an internal vortex cone that extends the primary runner length to 27". No other systems have this feature. A normal "E" series tube header has a 15 1/2" primary length. A longer primary will help thottle response and make more power throuhout the range.http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/2484EX-0500-2.jpg

Will the manifolds with standard or the shorter risers take up anymore room than stock manifolds? My compartment is tight around the stock risers that S- pipe down.

On a stock Mercruiser engine you want to use the manifolds with the short aluminum risers. They'll fit directly into your S pipes, but the manifolds are slightly wider than a stock Mercruiser manifold. $1195.00 for that kit!!
