exhaust opinions (which one)

I'm building a 540 ci tunnel ram motor for my cruiser. The parts will be going to my builder in a couple weeks and I'm getting closer to needing to decide on a exhaust.
I don't have the coin for CMI's, so I'm looking at lightning or imco powerfow plus but not sure which one or if I shuold go another way. I may put a blower on the boat in the future but that is a long way away if I do it at all.
The boat is also being completely re-gelcoated and I'm having the existing exhaust holes plugged so to make whatever exhaust easier to install.

If you're putting a cover on the motor you need full jackeded headers, your choice $$$$$$$$$$$!...

yes there will be a engine cover.
do you have a preference GFR?

I've had good luck with lightnings on my 21 Howard with blown 540.

I think I would go with the Lightnings myself!..

I SHALL have a set of Lightnings one day.
They are probably sold, but there was a SPAM yesterday or day before with some white Lightnings off of a 540. I'll see if I can find it.

VD cruiser what kind of horse power is your motor making? and do you have an over ride pedal on your cav plate?
