thats a nice piece.
how did it run the 2 times you took it out? Is it a lake lay up?

It is a medium lay up. The boat is set up really consevative right now. Pump and motor are also set up to run on the bottle. It has an A impeller in it now. It spins 5700 on just the motor. We figure it will spin about 6700 or so on the NOS. This motor made 785 hp at 6700 RPM on the dyno. It has a Pro fogger set up. It is running a 250 shot now, but can go upto 500 ..... not that i want to.We have not hit the NOS yet, so no real numbers to speak of. This boat will run a number once dialed in.

right on, sounds like a runner good luck with the sale. My 175hp shot (fogger) picked it up about 350-400 rpm on my 496. Id be surprised to see the 250 shot get you 1000 rpms. I set mine up to turn just under peak power on gas only, when you run on nos it changes everything and your peak power number on gas only means nothing anymore.Anyways just a few numbers to kick around if your interested. Good luck.

Thanks ..... those are numbers i actually do want. I dont want to spin over 7k. It does have an A impeller now so it can be cut down. What are you running b/c or? What RPM did your engine make peak HP and what RPM did you have before the NOS? I have heard your boat gets it.

I ended up stepping up the engine program a little but i have lots of data on the old motor.
Yes I was running a BC Berk prepped out by MPD.My engine made peak power at 6800 according to the dyno I used, I turned that BC 6250 in good air, 6000 in not so good air.It made about 790 at 6100.
Your might need to cut that thing down to atleast a B.. Id check the dyno numbers and see where peak HP was made and try and get it to turn just under that number in decent air.
If it doesnt sell by June bring it to ming and make a few laps in river racer class.

The motor is making peak hp 785 @ 6800 rpm. So i really need to get this thing spinning about 6200, then i will get 500 or so more rpm on the bottle. That should put me at about 1100 hp. I would love to go up there and run the boat, but i have too many things going on now, new house, new baby, new business.
