OROVILLE- Good shoreline spots for family?

Look for info on some decent places to set up a day-camp and then drive the boat to that spot.
Going to the lake with family but not everyone can fit into the boat. Need to find a decent place near Bidwell marina to set up a spot on the shore for the family to hang all day. Something that is sandy and not super rocky, etc.
Any suggestions?

I'm getting all I can get out it before the season is over!!
Still some quirks and little things that bother me but overall its doing well.

How difficult to install a place diverter? How much money would I be looking at? Is it something I could do myself?
