The marina guy yanked out the nozzle and busted the chain to my cap. As a result, my cap is down at the bottom of the lake. He couldn't find a replacement with the correct threads but he did give me one which has since fallen off. I really don't want to replace the whole filler, does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I have a chrome plated brass filler. I am 99% sure this is the original filler to my Marlin. Any help would be appreciated.

Any pics of the old one? Or the filler on the other side if you have one?

try bergeron engeerning. Ask for phil or brian. They should have it or be able to get it. They buy alot of used boats that have alot of stuff for us "rare" people including myself;)
480-834-1531 tell phil that his "black nephew" told you to call and he'll take care of you;)

OK, here are the pics. Looks like the "cap" is the same size as the opening. Tigger, you should try to figure out the diameter and pitch of the threads. As an example, the threads for the one I posted above are 1.75" x 16 threads/inch

Thanks Old Squirt, I will measure the opening and count the threads in the morning. Just so everyone knows, the cap in the second picture is the cap the marina guy gave me, not the original one to the filler.

Try JET BOAT PERFORMANCE 1-805-466-4719. They have a bunch of hard to find stuff.

Thanks guys, I have been busy lately working and traveling. I will give the guys a call sometime this week as the rainy season is about to start here in Oregon. The cap was approx 1.75" dia with the pitch measuring 15 or 16 threads per inch. The threads were difficult to measure.

I think i have a gas cap similar to that in good shape that came with parts from my old v-drive. I wont be able to look for a few days but if i find them i will keep ya posted by end of the week.
