just looking to see the diversity of jobs you have had before your current one. after talking with some friends i have discovered that i have had a lot of jobs compared to them, so im curious how i stack up against some of the hot boat people.
1. All American Hardware in Downey Ca. 16 years old
2. Dock boy, Silverwood Lake Marina, 17 y.o.
3. US Air Force, March AFB, Beale AFB. 18-22 y.o. (reserves for another 8 years)
4. Armored Transport, Los Angeles Ca, 22-25 y.o.
5. True Value Hardware, 25-26 y.o.
6. Los Angeles Times, Orange County Plant, 26-31 y.o.
7. Copier Tech, San Bernardino, 31-33 y.o.
8. Owner Copier Sales and Service, Riverside Ca, 33-38 y.o.
9. Over The Road Truck Driver, US Xpress, 38-41 y.o.
10. Currently webmaster/web hosting/internet consultant/Mr. Mom, working from home.
i have never been fired from any job and i enjoyed everyone i had. my grandfather always told me, the more jobs you know how to do, the less likely you are to be out of work. :)

Around 16: Gas station attendent back when the had Full Service(remember that :D )
Around 19: Underground Copper Miner
Around 23: Independent Chevron Dealer
Around 25: Parts Department (Sales)
Around 30: Parts Manager
Around 35: Parts Sales again
Around 45: Retired :notam: :D
Around 46: Pima County Parts Department
Did parts for Mazda, Hyundai, Nissan, Ford, Lincoln-Mercury, Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, all at the same time :squiggle:

I lost count! Been in the steel fabrication business since 1971. Laborer, welder, fitter, layout, shop foreman, head of engineering dept, and structural steel detailer currently. Worked in Montana, Arizona, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. So far, lol.

Radiator Shop - 3 years in Florida
Moved to Arizona
1st job - Delivery, Radiator Distributor driver 1 year
Took a year off
2nd- Car wash - made for a nice tan during the summer
3rd-Burger King cashier -1 month
4th-Accounting Firms 5 years
5th-AZ Game & Fish 11 years
6th-Bank One Ballpark 2 years
I think it's time for a change! :D

Roughly 14 all together counting p/t jobs in high school. Present job been at 14 years. Now cars I have had 12 :D

Age 24 ~ Project Manager for a Biotech Company
Age 29 to now ~ Payroll & Contract Administration for a Construction Company ( by far the best job I have ever had. I love the company I work for)

Worked in Sorrento Valley for a year, before that was a biotech company out in Ramona. (out in the sticks for a good reason if ya know what I mean - out of sight out of mind)

1999 Began work as a Title one aid for a very good school disrict, have been doing this every since, but I've changed schools twice...I've been working at my current school for going 5 years :D

WOW! I guess I am what you call stable. Out of college worked for Rockwell Int. Environmental and Energy Systems Group for 10 years, started my own Environmental Engineering company in 1986, sold it in 1998 to a huge Australian firm, stayed on for 3 years (contract requirement) then they sold out to the fr@cken French, stayed for another year and said "I'm outa here" retired in LHC.

Hey- I worked for the steel company (Schuff on 19th Ave.) that was building the Bank One Ballpark. I think, like 1995? Last place I worked in AZ before moving to NJ.

They D-Backs started playing ball in 1998. The BOB is an awesome building :D
