Those BA boats hauled the mail. I love the acceleration. I wouldn't want to drive one in Havasu, but on the water they were intended for (like we had this weekend) they are a helluva lot of fun.
Next year I'm bringing my boat, and Casey already agreed to go from the ramp to at LEAST 6th beach, so we'll see then! Maybe I'll get Party Cat to go up river a few minutes earlier, and stack the deck in my favor (by throwing a big wake)! LOL

They either haul fuel or have it trucked in. There is a paved road near the beach I believe. This boat has a T tank but also 2 large saddle tanks. Also its on alcohol.

Dunno about the rest, but CC's boat also has saddle tanks. The little one in the back is basically a surge tank...fuel is pumped from the saddle tanks to the surge, then to the motor. I believe CC said 38 gals between the two - of Methanol of course. :)

I was alittle late but everybody else answered for me.True,my boat is the EXXON Valdez.It holds 26gal in each side tank & 6 in the T-Tank.We just haul fuel if needed.There is a spot about 5mi up from the launch to refuel.So next time come on out.Thanx Casey.

Every one in here used to talk smack about the Just Jets forum because all they did was flap their gums, theres twice the amount of technical info in that forum now and this one has turned to shit. Between the altered egos and inflated egos in here you can't learn a ****ing thing anymore. You ask a question its either unanswered or you get three pages of stupidity wrapped around one of the peoples who still gives a shit's answer which eventually leads to the thread beign jacked and running entirely off course. Two years ago when I trying to get my boat in the water I relied on this forum for advice and help with what I was trying to get done, now people come on here, ask a question, and the drama kicks in and they can't get nothing useful.
Thank god I got my boat finished before this thing evolved into what it is today.

For clarification Eddie, the first pic was from the first outing in the boat, prior to that I had never driven a v-drive. So did I have the plate stuck, yes I did. Had no idea how to drive the boat at that time. Still unsure of a few things but, with the help of several of the people on this forum, I am getting better.
