Art, don't let the name fool you. I again am on the wives computer. This boat was at the Burley boat races. It was parked just inside the pit area. I am going to say that I am 90% positive. This boat is a B boat of some sort. But this boat would take a million to make anything out of it. It is destroyed inside. There are parts of the wood floor that are gone. I mean gone. It makes sense that it is the boat as it is in Paul, ID. Mike Minegar

Your last one Art was it expensive ? Its all in the eyes of the beer holder right and who says it has to be all fixed next year? I have read on here one guy fixed 3 years and finally went for his first rip, I think if you like it buy it and fix it...It sure would make a good learning tool.......( . )( . )..........I don't know shit about fiberglass or stringers, I do know small block chevys though and stereo's :D

This went for $3450, I hope it isn't the one that was seen with the bad damage, I asked twice about any damage to the floor or stringers and never got an answer beyond "i added some more pictures,i hope they show you what you want to see". Hope it is in good shape for the money spent.

Just curious what's a avergae B Boat hull set up like this worth ?????
To make it a circle boat it looks to me like you would throw away just about everything but the hull........ :coffeycup

If it is in crappy shape I would refuse to buy it for that price, that is a little steep anyways.
A properly set-up bare hull can run you anywhere from $5-10k pretty easy.

Well from what I gather it's in really bad shape and there's not much there to work with, but I've never seen it!..

Depends on whether it's new or used, I wouldn't let mine go for less than $10,000 on the trailer less motor, if I were to sell it that is!..

I bid $1050 for this boat and was quickly out bid. Now it seems that the guy who won it at $3450 has backed out of the deal. Ebay just notified me I can still have it at $1050 thru some 2nd chance deal offered by the owner.
Anyone interested????????????????

Which one, the GN or the Hobbit???
And your hulls are rigged very nice!!!!!!
10,000 - 12,000 will get you a brand new hull. But then you have to figure another 5,000 - 7,000 to rig it, plus the motor.. Or am I off on the amount to rig it????

Yeah, been there done that. Likely that was the owner bidding the price up on you with another user name. Funny guy! :hammer2:

My brother and I were talking this morning about the boat at Burley. It did not have any white on it. It was all black. So I'm not sure it is the same boat. But i will say that it is awful coincidental that they are both in Idaho. I just don't want to jinx a sale for one of you guys. It might be a good deal for someone.

9'8" deck length, no repairs anywhere, solid balsa floor, all the K boat stuff, but I think it was an E boat turned ski boat. Only one coat of black over the original white gel and then a clear. I cant see any identification # or signs of a racing number or name. The seat appears to be an original just like the 'Honcho' boat of Jerry. No deck separation or stress cracks visible anywhere but the toe board is cracked and been cut for a really large guy to crawl in there. Nice heavy custom trailer with brakes. There is talk of an E class starting for next year Nostalgia so this is a good candidate! Gritch and Wooten will be happy to hear that!
