Phoenix to AVI question....

Anyone who does the trip from Phoenix to the Avi Casio know if it is still better to take 63 out of Kingman into Laughlin then down to AVI
or stay on I-40, cross the river and go north to the Avi seeing it is south of the Laughlin?

I'd rather pull down the Interstate than deal with all the fools as you drop off into Bullhead/Laughlin. It's probably a couple miles shorter to go through Bullhead though.

When we went to CBBB05 we took I-10 to Quartsite end then the 95 to the AVI turn off. On the way back we took the I-40 to the ?? ( through Wickiup) and down to the 72 ?? across by Pleasant to the 17 and down. About the same time wise but I think wickiup to Kingman is a few less miles.
