What do you guys think, 1988 Fountain 8.8 meter, 29 foot for 33,500. Do you guys think this is a boat woth looking at for the price. Looks in descent condition, and I had the guy email me more pictures, and it looks pretty clean. Worth the money, or stay away??? Durango R/T

That seems cheap to me!!! My buddy Ryan works for Fountain, I'll see if I can get a hold of him!

Seems cheap to me also Nord as opposed to some of the stuff Ive been looking at in that price range. Any Fountain experts in here? Seems like a good deal although I havnt heard it run or drive yet, so who know? Durango R/T

How many hours are on it? See if you can get the service records for it too.

Says a total of 371 hours total for the boat. That is a good idea to see if the guy can provide service records, see what all has been done, and how often......Durango r/t

looks really clean to me. I would say as long as the maintainence was kept up you should be fine.

Thats what Im kinda thinking that if all the maintanance was done and kept up to par for the life of the boat till now, I would be okay. Im going to do some more checking, but its looking like I may need to contact this guy.....Durango R/T

sounds like a good deal to me.. might even be some bargaining room in the price?? from the pics it looks like the owner took real good care of it. keep us informed on what happens.

From what the ad says, the seller is highly motivated, so its looking like there could be some bargaining room in there also, so I guess maybe we'll see what happens. Might have to take a long weekend and do a road trip. Durango R/T

What year is the Durango? If it is the new ones with the Hemi's in them, then they can tow a little bit over 9,000lbs.

There's no way the Durango is going to pull that and launch it. I may be wrong, but I'd definately look into that too.
It will do it. There's plenty of power there for it but it's going to ride like sh*t when you put that much weight behind it.
