How high do you have your mileage that you report? Where do you tell them everything is stored/parked?
I pay about $1000 for my '06 F250 and my '04 Travel Trailer. Using that as an average, your at about $1000 each for your cars. Seems a little extreme...

Zip Code and the two import cars ar $$$. Check with Mercury as they are generally the least expensive.

TPC, That looks better than mine....
is your daughter on the policy? mine's at college with no car. but, since she's less than 90 miles away I have to put her on one of my cars.
since I left Moorpark my insurance went way up (zip code zoning)

Thanks for the replies.
Oh brother,,, $3 grand was a shocker. Guess I'm not alone.
It's been $1800 forever it seems, then this.
Haven't put the new wifie on yet.
She's clean too after traffic school for a child restaint fauxpax.
I better re-brace myself.
The daughter is seperate.
She totaled her car deluxe a few months back on the 710, and I expect her rate on her new PT Cruiser to reset back up to about $3K.
Her second totaled late model car in 3 years.
I'm posting to warn everybody when she's on the fwy.
A three stage, pearl white PT cruiser in the Chatsworth/Northridge area.

Has the DUI info hit the system yet?
Does your insurance know?
Has it been over a year since you got poped?

Ya, it was 3.5 years ago even made a claim last year on a new ranger i had. Dealer plates still on it and it cost $8,500 to fix! All of my stuff shows on my record! Few more years and it will all start to drop off.

Yorba Linda. I thought so too! I was currios as to whether it was a legit company. But i bought the f150 a couple of weeks ago and the dealer gave us insurance for a month and the policy just came in the mail and it is the same company i got the quote from. Go figure. Its South Coast Insurance

TPC,
The rate may be on par but there are quite a few variables that dictate your premiums.
zip code
coverages
etc
If you want me to shop it with mercury let me know and I will see what numbers we can put together.

I can hardly wait , I had my first wreck im 20 years today . Guy in front of me pulling out of the lot stopped for a green light . Cops said it didn't matter that he stopped . I hit him at below 3m.p.h. , very little damage to both trucks

Do yourself a favor and pay out of pocket and do not let the insurance get involved. You will be screwed for 3 years. Insurance sux.

State Farm, over 12 years, no accidents, tickets or claims, $3600 for
2003 Excursion 4X4
98 Mercedes
95 Hallett
$1mil Liability Umbrella
I too went insurance shopping and couldn't get a better deal ~ it was the "loyalty" discount which separated State Farm from everybody else. It still burns my ass though - the damn 98 Benz/wLojack is still more than a newer 4X4

You in Cali?
That's a helluva a price, especially considering the sporty M3. I too am married, about to turn 40, also carry HO thru them and receive every discount known to man. In fact I was about to switch life to them and add a self-employed business rider on the liability policy.
Maybe I should contact Allstate.
