How many of us have the recommended supply's
I think the standard for Calif is 3 to 5 days of supply's
food water clothing medical & first aid
we have been warned the if there is a disaster plan on
no help what so ever for 5 days that was before the hurricane thats the standard for as long as I can remember
any of us ready I know I'm not but will be soon

Well if you heard any of the new interviews with some of the FEMA regional directors, you would at least have 30 days worth of supplies. Oh and if you live in california, (FEMA does'nt ever plan on having a major disater in california, according to one of it's Regional Directors) don't plan on any sort of help for
atleast 72 hours and even that is a conservative number. SCARY...

We have our motorhome which during the winter (riding season) is fully stocked and ready for at least 5 days. during the summer its empty though. I actually plan on cleaning and stocking it this weekend just because.

Thunderstorms & Tornado's here (although a quake is a theoretical possibility). We actually have like 3 weks or so of food here (non-perrishable (a lot of it is spare mre's from travels)), no large ammounts of water but that would be close enough by without the massive damages from Hurricanes or huge quakes. Generator is here for power failure (like a week last January from 3/4" ice storm). PLENTY (hundreds of rounds each) of ammo for the .45acp, 12-gauge(s), .308 hunting rifle, .22 rifle (for squirrel (great soup)) and plenty of parts to load a few hundred more rounds each if stocks ran low. Ya don't need much ammo when you hit 'em HARD. :lightsabe
