Carb info

Im gonna run a tunnel ram with 2 Holley 450's on a BBC. Does anyone know what the best way to set these up is? I talked to some one a couple of days ago who put metering blocks in place of the plates (I guess that the 4150-4160 upgrade?) and blocked off the power valves, is this the best way to go? If your running the 450's could you give me jet sizes you have in them? Thanks for the info :)

I could assist you with the best decision on that, parts selection and all. The conversion to a 4150 style metering can be accomplished in two different ways. One offers better idling over the other, but none-the less they both are blocks.
I would also recommend tieing the vacuum canisters together so that your secondaries open at the same time off vacuum.
There are many little tricks that brighten up the reliability and response from the 3310/1850 style 4160 carbs. Give me a call sometime.

Hey Ty, the carbs I have are list #9776, they have mechanical secondaries. Im gonna try and give you a call next week and thanks for the help. :)
