Magic Speed Info ??

Anyone have any accurate info on how fast a 28' Magic Deckboat will top out at with a 525 EFI? Also will it have a nice take off? Appreciate the info.

With 1/5 gallon of fuel & my 10 year old daughter in the boat by herself going downriver with a tailwind and only two beers on the boat, mine did 84, but in real world conditions, Summer heat, gear, ice chests, & a few peeps, mid to low 70's spinning a 26p prop.
Acceleration is fine, no problem.

The Conquest deck with a 525 does right around 80 with the new bottom, so my guess would be just a little less than that.

my friend has a 28 magic deck with the 525 and his tops out at the low to mid 70's. it take off ok way better than the 496

You'll love the Magic Deck, half of Havasu can't be wrong. In the summer with a load I'm sure you'll run in the 70's, and in the colder months you should be able to squeeze 80 out of her.

I did manage to get it wound up once so far. 3 people (no kids), 3/4 tanks, porta potti, cooler, misc. junk, etc, 32 Bravo (really a 31 according to most), 1.5 gears, 6200 rpm. No gps, water pressure speedo pegged. Don't really know how fast it is but it makes me grin big time!
