been at the hospital most of the day
my baby in a 05 honda civic hit an 05 F350 headon
when i saw 8 police cars, fire trucks, and paramedic trucks I just about died.
both vehicles had to be towed. the civic has to be a total loss and the f350 looks like its axel was broken

I am glad to hear that everyone is ok.! small cars are great for fuel mileage but in this case anyone would trade a few mpg for a better chance of walking away.....

Glad to hear things are looking well. We hope for a quick recovery for her (and YOU!).
Crush zones in cars really work as you can see. They take the energy out of the crash before that energy has a chance to hurt the passengers. The cars are usually destroyed at the expense of saving the passenger area.

Wow... The Holland's thoughts and prayers out to you... i know what you mean about little cars, I was in the same mindset. Sold the altima and put her in the suburban... I have a 3/4 ton GMC. She drives allover being a signing agent. I worry about that too..
Good luck on the recovery. If you need anything myself or all the caring people here on the boards would be happy to assist... just ask!
Bob.
