Shaq is the greatest....remember when he first went to Miami, and he said after basketball, he wanted to join the FBI an "be and undercover agent"!
Ya, nobody would recognize him!!  :2purples: :D

Shaq is a big man with lot's of money and fame but he has a big big heart and a good head on his shoulders. He doesn't let all the mumbo-jumbo get in the way of his life. He seems like a real down to earth man! And a great sense of humor with it! I love my Shaq-ie 'O! ;) :D

Kudos to Shaq
It's a shame that more, overpaid professional athletes don't chip in to help. Most of these guys have tons of money just burning holes in their pockets.
It's good to hear that at least some have hearts and give rather than using their money to pimp out their house and garage for the next episode of MTV Cribs !!!

That's just a dumb statement. :hammerhea
Bill Gates probably donates more money to charities and worthy causes than almost anyone else. He has a full-time foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, set up to do just that.
By the way, "The foundation is funding grants to the American Red Cross ($1.5 million), the Baton Rouge Area Foundation ($750,000), and other organizations to support their work in the relief effort." Source: http://www.gatesfoundation.org/AboutUs/SpecialProjects/KatrinaRelief.htm
The foundation was created in January 2000, through the merger of the Gates Learning Foundation, which worked to expand access to technology through public libraries, and the William H. Gates Foundation, which focused on improving global health. Led by Bill GatesÂ’ father, William H. Gates Sr., and Patty Stonesifer, the Seattle-based foundation has an endowment of approximately $28.8 billion.
