Boat project looks real nice JJ. Brings back lots of memories from the NDBA days. Bakersfield isn't until the 23rd & 24th of Sept SD. Unless you mean San Diego which is this weekend.

Dave no I am coming out the 28th to go to the Bakersfield,for the Krackle Fest. The Boat looks better when it is not in my nasty shop. It is hard not to change a lot if things and just make it the way it was in 1973. Thanks for the kind words guys. j.j. :wink:

Billy the boat is going to Lake Ming for the NJBA race the 24-25 of September, then it is going to the 4th Calf. Hot Rod Reunion in Balersfield the 30th of September to the 2th of October. Looking forward to dinner, j.j. :rollside:

damn i love that boat, hopefully in a few years my boat wil have some sweet riggin and an engine that radical, and then i will change the paint back to a two color scallop/panel job similar to that, Man i love nostaglia, and wish i lived back then ! ! ! !

Does anyone know the last fastest pass that shovel went!!???I heard it went 206 mph and she took Mario Andretti for a 160mph pass , man thats FAST for riding shotgun!!!!!!!!!!!! :jawdrop: I know blood sweat and nitro went 203 and then "supposedly" Mary broke it soon after that?!! :idea:

i meet them the other day at eagle motorsports here in tyler what a nice couple they are ...hope next summer they have some time to hang out with our lake rat's and tell some great story's of racing ....scotty, mary if ya'll ever need some help jesse has my # call me anytime..... maybe i will have the dimarco up a running and she can air it out alittle david

Yes I am going to take it for a test run. I was suppose to be in Calif this week, but my husband's back went out.
Just got 4 injections today.
We are going to take it to lake Ming Oct 22nd and 23rd.
I have to be careful with this engine, my S.S. check is not big enogh for engine parts. When you don't have a sponser you have to be easy on that motor. Can't wait to see all my old friends. Hope to meet you!!! Mary
