I have been put in charge of a houseboat trip for next fall 06 out west for 4 couples. I am going to need some help with this and I am open to your suggestions.....
Companies to use
Mead or Powell
should we bring our boats also.....2 27' Deep V's
boat size
This will be for 4 couples and two kids.......
Should be fun

Although it's not cheap. Powell is the way to go and bring (2) boats and some sea-doo's if possible. The water was up a bunch this year and our trip last month was incredible... :wink:

Powell, and I think it is Seven Seas Resorts that rents the houseboats. And yes bring the other boats.

OK,, I have to say Powell too...
As far as houseboats go, check out lakepowell.com
I know we are going to be doing the 2nd Anuual Powellfest probably August 3-7th this next year.

Powell!
Go out of Bullfrog or Hall's Crossing if it is convient. You won't have to go through the narrows and a lot less traffic. Better natural scenery in my opinion. (yes I have been out of Wahweap many times and I love Navajo Canyon.)

Forever Resorts has the best houseboat opeation on Lake Mohave and Lake Mead, but I'm not sure if they service Lake Powell.

Just found their web site and it shows one Lake Powell location at Antelope Point. Here's the site:
