would look to be in the works :skull:
you know there had to be lack of oxygen to lots of skin and tissues , just wonder how deep it goes and how high his infection risk is ????
Kinda like getting frostbite or burned ??

He stayed under water for 175 hours. Then tried to hold his breath for 9 minutes. He went just over 7. Of course he was hand cuffed in 8 places under the water. So he failed to break the world record for holding your breath under water. What he did is still amazing.

To live in that bubble for 7 days is totally amazing. He is one of the most amazing street magician alive today.

Some of his stunts seem pretty amazing, but until I see him in person, I dont believe a damn thing he does.

I agree that some things are unbelievable......especially the damn levitation! Who in the hell can do that? The card tricks are cool though!

I saw one of Blaine's "Street Magic" TV shows, the one where he "levitates" in front of pedestrians. What he does is actually a rather ordinary illusion (it appears that both feet are leaving the ground, but in reality, he's stepping up on one toe, which is obscured by the one rising foot), but they edited in a shot of BOTH feet coming up off the ground. I lost all respect for Blaine when I saw how they'd phonied up that illusion.
I liked last week's take on the guy during "Saturday Night Live." Amy Poehler said: "David Blaine will spend a week inside the water-filled dome and, when he emerges, with any luck....DO A MAGIC TRICK."

Staying underwater for 7 days I agree is not a WOW! but holding your breath underwater for 7 min. That is WOW! What a nutjob.

BINGO! its amazing what a little film editing can do. :) none of his tricks are tough or even new.. but the one thing i will give him is his presentation. He knows how to sell it.. thats the real trick.
want to buy your own tricks.. here is the best place i have ever found to get them.

Yeah, I did, WTF? I would like to know how he illusions that one, cause it just aint right!
yes he is a nut job, but he pulls of some weird shiat! Stayin under water for 7 days is really just a physical challenge, not magic, but he is definately a stud. I guess we'll see just how much when his skin starts peeling off

What about the lady where he pulled her teeth out in front of everyone and then blew in her face and they were back. I tivo'd it and watch it in slow motion and it is a trip. It looks like she puts her tongue where her missing teeth are. How does that work in front a everyone?

I agree. The guy lost 50lbs. just for the stunt, he stays in the water for 7 days and THEN tries for the world record. His stunts are pretty obscured but his dedication to each feat is as good as any in history. Oh yeah, he just bought a 1.67mm dollar apartment in April....not bad for a street magician.
