I find it curious that over 61% of voters in California passed a constitutional amendment stating that marriage was to involve one man and one woman. And no sooner did they pass that, then the democrats in the state passed a law allowing gays to marry. Don't this idiots even have a concept of what their constituents want? And thank God that Arnold is going to veto it, but even the supporters of the ban on gay marriages is giving him flack. Not for the veto, but for saying that the courts are going to wind up deciding the issue.
He never said that he supported the courts making that decision, but that since the court case has been filed, it will be out of the people's decision making ability. Just like a few years ago when they banned benefits for illegal immigrants and Grey and his cronies ignored the people's wishes. And they wonder why Grey was removed from office.

It's all total hose shit! Just goes to show it's really not what the people vote for. Socialism is here to stay in Cali. I think Arnold was this state's last chance to pull it's head out of its ass. He talked about the border and was labeled a racist. I think he did that as a kind of test to see what kind of support he'd have. Now he has to cut other services since Cali is giving out free health care and social services to illegal non tax paying people. So instead he has to find money somewhere else. I don't agree with him cutting police and firemen beni's but where else is the money going to come from? These people should have stood up for arnold when the minorities were calling him a racist. Now their gonna pay because people just don't care unless it affects them. And if anything all those commercials on TV just piss's people off. As for the gay issue. It's allready been voted on , just like 187. How can they? But they will!

I agree...to a point. And it is bullshit that once anyone with any voice says anything about controling any form of immigration they are out right labeled as racist. It is bullshit. Someone needs to grow some serious balls and step up and control the border. And gain control on all of the illegals living here already. Shit, we need a ***boat member in the senate! That would get shit done.
