Planning a trip with some Doo's and maybe a jet or 2. 1) Where are the good places to stay for both hotels and camping? 2) What is the name of the place you see crossing on I 10? 3) What is the water temp? 4) Is Parker where the closest casino's are?
Thanks

A campground you may be thinking of is Rivera or McIntyre? I dont' remember which one... try this:

And I think Parker is the closest Casino. Water temp should be real nice right now.

Hotels
1. Hampton Inn in Blythe is a nice place.
We have driven down the main street and just stopped and got a hotel a couple of times with good results. I have never seen the town full.
Launch at Macintire Park

McIntyre is good, No dogs and gas is $3.59 at the pump. They cant sell beer either so bring your own. Riviera by the freeway has been bought out and they have nightly rentals facing their lagoon. I think theyre 1 bedroom mobiles. McIntyre also has a double wide for rent with several rooms. Call for a cost (760) 922-8205

Isn't there still a KOA on the right hand side when heading East on I-10....it's been awhile since I've been out that way. Spent 10 years as a young kid in the town (Ehrenberg) across from Blythe.

1. Get off the 10 at Lovekin. There is a Motel 6 just south of the fwy that isnt bad. Or go north on Lovekin then turn either way on hobson and there are a few decent motels. Camping: Mcintyre park is about 10 miles south of the 10 on Intake Blvd. Riviera is right at the 10 fwy. Mayflower is about 7 miles north of the fwy, take Intake to 6th Ave and turn right, then left when it dead ends. I would choose Mc or Mayflower for camping and launch.
2. Riviera.
3. Warm.
4. I think so. Or Cathedral City. Zero night life in Blythe, unless drinkin' beer in a parking lot is night life.
Blythe sucks

There is a bar in town called the Horny Toad Saloon…for Blythe, this is as good as it gets unless you really want to “let loose” and hit up the bowling alley :D

The KOA is in Ehrenberg, along with a couple other riverfront campgrounds.
And yes, Parker is the closest Casino.

So how's the boat running....I sure do miss it?
Haven't got around to changing my avatar as I can't up load any pic's of my new boat because I can't find the UBS cable for my camera. :(

Don't go north of the bridge unless you like sucking up tree stumps. The way the water has been recently, I'd cross off Ehrenberg.
