What's the 411 on the Island Inn? How is their security?

Seemed okay, I stayed there for a few days back in June during the week.

It's OK......There's a rent a cop in a cart that roams all night.......He'll tell you not to put your cover on because he can't see what's going on the boat.....
I gave him a $20 and asked him to keep an eye on a certain boat.....We were there three nights and all was OK.......

I have never stayed there but if I did, I would take my prop off. No doubt. I have heard horror stories.

We stayed the weekend in August & had no problems. The restaurant is tops & has a lounge singer that is excellent. You can launch at Crazy Horse with no lines.

We were their just last weekend. The security was as noticeable as any other place…We had no problems and like one of the other “posters” said, the restaurant there is pretty good, it’s called the “Juicy Noodle” (stupid name but still good)
All in all, I would stay there again. Rooms were ok, not the best but ok.
