I know I know - blah blah blah -
But I have to sell this boat
New stringers, New bulk head, new side gunnel supports - fully capped - ready for paint and rigging.
Pod has been cut - all glass work done professionally by TPR
Trailer is perfect - lowered trailer with lowered bunks with new lights and paint.
Someone buy this Biotch.

I ran slow. Really slow. Chasing ghosts in the fuel system. Had it flowed yesterday to at Gorr fuel systems and worked out the BUGS and got everything dialed. Anyone ever needs injection done these guys are great. I am getting ready for phoenix now.

well ok why dont you call Tom and ask him about it he knows about it and so does the guy that got it from the other guy and then traded it back for the blue one...and the 2 g's that were spent on the glass work was way to much the parkey floor isnt saveable and it looks like shit now.... why dont you look underneath and look for the resin drips that came through the cracks when they did the shitty glasswork on the stringers.... ya i got my ****ing facts straight.........................

I have seen this boat and looked it over as well, its a good project boat and the bottom is not "blown out" it just needs to be looked at in a few areas. It has alot of new glass work and is still kinda in the build up stage.Would be a great project boat for someone who likes these boats.

Thanks Nuckin - I would never sell anything that I thought could hurt someone - let only buy anything that would hurt me or my family - Does it need more work - yes - and it is priced as such

I was down at Papps shop when this boat was there also, from what i know of its history is,...there was some sort of delam to the stringers and it has since been repaired (new stringers), the pod has also been shortened (maybe for a pop off, dont really know) also heard that the assend had issues too!
i crawled around this hull for at least 1/2-3/4 of an hour, the hull is fine!
all i know is that if i were into southwind hulls i would have grabbed this boat up from billy, mouzer or whoever has had it in their posession, but i cant really stand the look of the SWTD (no shot at the brothers, just my opinion)
Jack, i really think you could have went about this another way, than to bash someone's credability on the sale of boats, as you may very well know, things on these here boards can get pretty grey as to the understanding of the way deals go down and how they get blown way out of proportion, all i know is what ive seen @ Tom Papp's shop,...now im not saying its in the type of shape to where all you need to do is just add some gel to the program, the hull still needs some work, after all it is clearly stated its a project boat!
thats about all im gonna say about the hull except that the inside of the boat, (glasswork) turned out really nice!

You know, If I did'nt have 2 allready, I would snatch this thing up myself.
You guys (mostly Mouser) are killing the SWTD market  (not that its a large market) but some people like em. Did'nt this hull start the tunnel boat craze anyways.
How the hell am I going to get any $$$ for the ones i have if you keep low balling the hell out of these hulls. Im trying to make a quick buck so I can step up and get into a TPR Damn it !!!!!!! :argue:

What kills me is that this is a 1981 hull and they have a 1976 gell color scheme. Money$ucker is a 76 and they went solid and no glitter. ahead of their time there.

When I read this thread in it's initial posts, I was happy for Mike (mouzer) that he had sold it. Mouzer had his eyes on a really nice V-drive and needed some cake to get it in his possesion. I bought this hull & trailer sight unseen, had it taken to TPR then sent tom a machined intake to be installed. (BTW it's not the intake shown in the current photos) During a few short conversations I learned I was putting the cart before the horse having the intake installed at that juncture. Some other work in a few opinions needed to be done as to make that peticular work easier. That (other) work started adding up $$$ very fast. The (other) work was not mentioned in the original description/spam post that has now been deleted. When Mike posted another SWTD for sale I felt it more within my budget and time frame to make it a runner again. CUT AND DRIED end of that chapter. When I saw that Proppa had purchased this SWTD, I figured he would know what work and how to get it done and it was now in his lap. As time goes by he posts it for sale on this thread then some unknown poster ( I have my own idea) comes along and BASHES the living SH!T out of Proppa with no vested interest what so ever in this hull & trailor. My initial view was anger, but then as the thread proggressed more I felt I was being targeted as the "Jack me hoffer" unknown poster which I AM NOT!! If I wanted to bash this hull I had all the time in previous posts to do so. My opinion of the deal is, your buying a really nice trailer on top of which sits an opportunity to own one of a few SWTD's that were produced. The Hull is worth finishing. JACKOFFER, If you have NO VESTED INTEREST in this deal, why bash?? Proppa, you should sink a few bucks into this deal as so everyone that has "invested" all share a common bond. Owning it, spending money and never seeing it finished. C'mon mang....keep up the momentum. I think all who have touched her, want too see her finished some day. R.B.

Ok, OK, I will come out and make it public, I officially own the most bad press, hand me down boat on the boards. It is in the process of having the trailer converted into a dolly trailer and the boat is in for some body work before getting painted. I am currently getting materials for the rail kit so I can have all the holes drilled in the rails before flow coating the floor. This boat may actually come together in my hands since I was one of the first ones in the Hot BOat forum owner chain. Soon Big Proppa will get his rims back too. lol. Stupid locks
