Anyone ever have problems with putting a sleeve in a block that is for marine use?
My #2 cylinder wall cracked from a piston failure and i have been considering simply putting a sleeve rather then starting over with a new block entirely.
Considering the type of load a marine engine sees compared to a car or truck i'm not sure its terribly bright to try and save the block and put it back in marine service.

Get in touch with Sqeazing Spectras (aka Bruce)
He had it done for JetBoat Rich earlier this year.
Rich is running a little B&M blower on 454 BBC.
Good Luck

With a four bolt main would consider it, with a two bolt main wouldn't.

Go for it. I've had the same sleeved block in 3 different jet boats in the last 6 years. No problems.

Sleeved blocks are fine if sleeves are done correctly. I've run them with blowers without problems before. :)
