He and his family are fine. His shop got wiped out, but his house (and boat) are fine. He's still missing his internet connection, and said he's bored as hell and can't wait to get online. He had a generator and power, but sez it was rough for the first week. Anyhow, he'll fill you in on the details.
He said thanks for all the concern; hello to all his HB friends (and even foes), and suggests donating to victims thru legitimate relief organizations only. Said heÂ’s doing fine on that end of it, his wifey is still working.

You gotta remember, who was he going to call? Not sure anybody here spoke with him on a regular basis. It wasn't until I found three family members and left two sets of VM messages that his mom told him some private investigator was trying to find him and he should call.
I never met or spoke with Hoss before this morning, and let me say, he's a really cool guy to chat with and has plenty to say. He was dumbfounded to find out there was a 5 page post about his whereabouts.
Like I said, he has plenty to say about the situation. I forgot to mention there was a period of 5 days when he had not heard from his wife/kid, so I'm sure he's gonna be on here with some good reading material.

Wow, that's a generous offer.
I believe he said it's the cable itself which is still not working. He has cable TV, but apparentlyu they haven't gotten around to restoring cable internet access. I suppose he could go dial up? Most supermarkets carry those AOL sign up packages in the free apartment guide/recycler areas. Those usually give like 1000 free hours of Internet connect via a dial up. Somebody should mention that to him.
I keep several of those packages on hand in case my cable modem/acces goes down. That and T-Mobile hotspot.

Don`t send me any money. I`m ok. Plenty of construction work now. I really don`t feel like doing anything but drinkin beer. Gotta salvage as much as possible from my shop. 5 lifts, alignment rack and a drive on truck rack still to figutre out. Tire machines, tubing bender and the rest will probably fit in my garage. Didn`t realize I had so much craaap.
