I've done it, you need a good video card that can handle the size of the big screen, it's not just plug and play. I had to use a ATI 9600 with the video out (yellow rca) plug and the then adjust for the resolution and refresh rate. Unless your tv is high def the picture looks pretty crappy. The resolution on a standard projection big screen is pretty low. Good luck and know it can be done.

I can and have hooked mine up (but not right now to far away), but I have a HP Media Center Comp. it come all set up to do this. there is even a program that changes the setting of the computer so it fits the size and the resilution of the TV, the computer come with a wireless mouse, key board and a remote which makes it great for sitting on the couch and surfing

Lower the refresh rate and match the screen dim's (lines of res) to the projection. Older units won't support beyond 640x480, some better ones 800x600. Much easier to do if you have a monitor rather than a tuner box.

If you get the All in Wonder 9800 Pro Video Card, it comes with Component Outputs that can hook to a HDTV, it also comes with a remote and gives you DVR capabilities
