Tow into parker was covered by AAA....
$5 per mile from Parker to Havasu.....
Thank gosh for that extended warranty......
Yea.....She sits good.....Took a bit to get it that way.....
She's been a good truck.....I told her I was sorry I hurt her......
She'll be OK......Darryl is going to see that she's good as new.....

Not really the middle of nowhere even though it feels like it. Vidal Junction is 16 miles from the bridge into parker then he was 25 miles south of that. Either way it still sucks. Hope everything works out okay.

Chris, I am been doing some research on our other issue. He is what I got back from another message board.
This is for the surging/power loss/black smoke dealio...
I had this same problem, turned out to be the recall for the injector wiring harness was the ticket( I don't recall the recall #, pun intended). I've been through the whole mess with this and after 4 trips to the dealership 3 EGR's 1 EBP sensor and multiple flashes the bug was in the wiring harness for the injectors, totally sporadic issue and OF COURSE it never happened when I took it in. I've had my rig back and about 3k miles without one hiccup.

Look at it this way you get another day in havasu.
Last year we were going back home through 29 Palms and right in the middle of that big hill climb my Torque converter blew. I mean oil everywhere it was a complete mess. We were stuck on the highway for 3 hours waiting for a tow truck (Covered Citi Bank). We were towed into 29 palms and luckily my friends decided to go that route so they picked us up for the return ride home.
I told the guy since the Sub was all ready on the flatbet how much to tow to orange county $300, so the very next day they dropped off the truck and we fixed it here in OC.
