If anyone hasn't left for Malvern, you better get on the road or it will be over before you get there!!!------everything is being moved up a day in order to get it in------qualifying is gona be tomorrow (friday) with eliminations being run on saturday due to hurricane changing predicted course and moving further east than first thought-----and this came from a reliable source that is there right now!!!

the race was called this morning because they had to start releasing from the lake or sumthin to prevent flooding looks like the weather is gettin rough up there now anyways.

Well, We're BACK and home Safe! :boxed:
The qualifing went off without a hitch! I ran some damn good numbers, but just short making the CUT (18th).... I ran two pass's that were close..... one was a 8.076 and 8.081 but you had to run at least a 8.068 to make the field!!!! :rollside:
They canceled the RAce's today due to the fact that They were draining the lake so fast in the anticipation of "RITA" that there wasn't enough water to even think of running on today (down about 24-36").... Good thing though,, Because "RITA" is sure showing what a Bitch she really is up there right now!
Special thanks to "Backfire" and "LittleBit" for helping me all day Friday and this AM!!! I couldn't have done it without you two!!!!! :shift:

Rocket,
I finally made it home to WI. after what seemed to be an endless journey! It was a true pleasure to meet you and everyone else that came up and said hello. That alone made the 12 hour trip worth every second. I did capture some good photos on Friday. I hope to have it all edited and published by mid-week. I started to download pics on the way home and got a little head start. Now I need to get some rest. It was great to meet you all and can't wait till we meet again! Here is one of the photos of Sweet and Sassy.
