I am thinking of mounting my fenders to the axles on my trailer. Any one of pics and pros or cons for doing this?

the axles articulate differently i dont see how that would work

Right now my fenders are welded to these steps. Was thinking of getting rid of the big steps and putting more of a step plate attached to the frame. Then putting 2 clearance lights on the fender. 2 yellow in fron and the 2 red in the back. I had them on one trailer and looks sweet.
