Going to run a set of edelbrock aluminum heads on
my new 514 ford. Just thinking of corrosion.
Run in fresh water most of the time but will see
some brackish water. You guys with aluminum heads
have any experance with life expectancy.

I,ve ran them for the last 2 seasons, no problems. A good friend ran a set of Blue Thunders on his 460 for 5 years in brackish water no problems. The key is to thouorghly flush your block after every use. Good Luck!

Cool, I seen a place doing a water jacket epoxy coating for big bucks. Now I can rest at night
not thinking about the coating job.
Fat Rat are you running Eldebrocks on a ford or chevy.

Fat Rat are you running Eldebrocks on a ford or chevy. I,m running Chevy Bow Tie, all machine work done by Total Flow. I would not sweat any thing, just be as "Anal" as we are about maintaining your ride. :D
