Hey guys, I need a set of evidently unusual BBC heads. They are rectangle port heads but they are closed chamber instead of open chambered like the 990's. The casting # is 3904391, listed as a 396 and 427 is all I came up with. The ones my buddy has are junk. If he goes to the 990's he will have to go to dome pistons to stay at the same compression he's at. Any suggestions? If anyone knows where to find some of these let me know.

buy from the guys on the boards if you can. If not you can give paul pfaff race engines a call. THey had lots of used bbc heads at their garage sale last weekend. If no luck there, start hitting up the swap meets. Good luck to you.

Razor and Flat Broke, let me know what you guys find because he will buy them. If no one on here has them I will give Pfaff a call and see what he has, thanks for the tip on that cs19. Rvrbrts, you threw those out but kept all that other crap in there? wink Keep on cleaning chick, you might run across a BDS 1071 blower burried underneath all the old stuffed animals and bicycles. Let me know wink .

Hey Fry
Got the casting numbers, 3898247 GM heads. Not what you were looking for, though. I can't find the casting number on any of the web sites. They are open chamber, large oval port heads. The closest thing I found was like 113cc chamber. If you can use them, I have pics. Will sell cheap, if you can use...
Anyone know what these are?
Zack

hhmmmm, while everyone is looking for heads maybe you will run across a set for me. i have 119 oval heads right now and im looking for smaller chamber square heads if possible. i have dome pistons already so i cant go to small. anyone have anything out there or any ideas where i can get some not to expensive? i was looking at the brodix heads but they are 2,000 and i realy dont wanna spend that much for heads right now. thanx in advance for any help.
