It may be pretty low by Thanksgiving.
I think there is a website that shows the water levels there....HCS I think has it.
Its a beautiful lake, about 30 minutes north of Sac.

The water's higher than I've ever seen it at this time of year. But be advised, It's colder than hell in late November.
Here's a pic taken last Sunday from the north fork.

It goes through fuel, is high maintanence, and breaks down like a custom.

NT,
Its a nice lake. Cold but just bring some alcohol and you will be alright.
If you are in the area, you could also launch in the Sacramento Delta area and cruise around there, where there are bars on the river.
Have fun!

I have lived by the lake for about 20 years, great lake usually only in the morning hours. Almost every day (some exceptions) the wind comes up in the afternoon. I have low profile boats, 18 ft flat vdrive and hydro. I see and watch every wave. Put up a post the week before you come and I'll let you know the water level. As said before you can launch in Sac. and boat on the river/delta also.

My family was there for a week this summer. We had a great time. Lots of skiing up river. There was hardly anyone on the water compared to someplace like Havasu. The lake was much bigger than I expected.
Tow the boat up. You will have a good time.

Thanks alot..I have always wanted to go to the delta...never had the chance to though. Does it get worse then Havasu chop when the winds kick up???
