How do these type of boats ride in heavy wash chop on Saturday afternoon in Havasu?

I think it may be safe to say, after the HTM accident, there are no more look-the-other-way high speed runs up at Castaic. There is a daily parade of nice hardware running the 15 freeway to Elsinore to test. These can include new hotrods or boats that have received upgrades and just need testing/tuning.
If you use the alley at Elsinore, put on your safety gear! There are no Lifeguard boats standing by and should the worst happen, you could be in the water for an amount of time that could make a diff.
Be careful out there... ;)

It was sheet glass, 80 degrees and humid as hell today. We ran a strong 80 with 5 people and 2 full tanks. That boat rides like a dream though. We made some small chop to drive through and you could barely feel it. Awesome boat.

Mike stopped by Honda on the way back up to SCV and had the new boat with him. He had it down in So Cal being fitted for doors. This boat is so nice. Time to sell the Bullet and buy a party boat.

That I understand., as most builders are 25 miles away in the corona area.
BUT DAMN that is one long drive from castaic to elsinore
I doubt there are any lifeguard boats out there on a wednesday or tuesday in castaic

I'm pretty sure after all the downhill attacks on the LEO's on the water at Castaic in the aftermath, they have made it known to the boat OEM's speed runs there are over, supervised or not...
We use Elsinore a lot, it's close, and we can run hard if we want to. I've seen a ton of peeps making 100+ passes out there with zero safety equipment on. Some are boat dealers taking demo rides with customers.
What happens if the drive breaks, or that idiot on the Sea Doo hops out in front? I've been tossed out at 90+. It f-in hurts, and I was lucky. I own some expensive safety equipment for a good reason. Just saying, be careful out there... Bad stuff happens quick to good people.
