Anyone here than can run a vin and let me know if the vehicle has been stolen or abandon?

you can call the local police or highway patrol, they can run it and tell you if its stolen.. they wont give you any details on it.

Did you find a car in a ditch on the mountain or what? Is the prior owner stuffed in a mine shaft somewhere? Enquiring minds want to know. :D
